We welcome you on our webpage and would like to introduce our business simulation Fort Fantastic.

Fort Fantastic is an innovative, computer-aided team simulation combined with haptic elements. It was developed by Business Games and Simulation Labs (BuGaSi Labs) – a spin off of two German Universities. Meanwhile BuGaSi Labs offers customizable, multi-language, interactive business simulations and serious game based learning applications for corporations, universities, educational institutions and any other type of training organizations.

Fort Fantastic and the embedded experimental learning approach facilitates a number of learning outcomes that lead to sustainable increase in team performance in administrative processes.

Our product is a competitive management simulation for 3-9 players in 1 to 4 groups. On the surface participants compete in teams for the best organizational performance in maintaining operational availability in their theme park. More importantly and the unrevealed reason for the simulation are the manifold first-hand experiences provided by the simulated environment. These include the difficulty to disseminate the right information at the right time and to the right people or to lead diverse group behavior to act as a coordinated team. Irrespective of whether participants face the challenge of demanding behavior under stress or have to show tolerance for ruinous maloperation, authentic behavior comes to light and can be observed, reflected and discussed. This results in sustainable learning outcomes far beyond traditional classroom teaching.
